About agc.chain

Trust you can verify, for every airworthiness release.

agc.chain is a compliance platform for aviation. We turn each EASA Form 1 and FAA 8130-3 into cryptographic proof — so a release can be confirmed authentic and unaltered by anyone, without a phone call, a login, or a leap of faith.

Our mission

A serviceable part is only as trustworthy as the certificate that travels with it. Yet those certificates are still paper and PDFs — easy to copy, hard to authenticate, and impossible to check at a glance. Our mission is to make an airworthiness release self-evidently genuine: proof that stands on its own, independent of who is holding the document.

What agc.chain does

When a certifier signs a release, we take a cryptographic fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of the completed certificate and anchor only that hash to a private, permissioned blockchain. The document itself and all of its data never leave your tenant.

  • Only the hash goes on-chain. The certificate stays in your organization's database. What is written on-chain is a non-reversible fingerprint — never personal data, never the document.
  • Public QR verification. Every certificate carries a QR code. Scanning it — or entering the hash on the public verification page — instantly confirms whether the release is authentic and unaltered. No account, no wallet, no crypto knowledge.
  • Multi-jurisdiction by design. One model covers the EASA Form 1 and the FAA 8130-3, with production releases and further jurisdictions on the roadmap.
  • An authenticator on every on-chain act. Certifying and invalidating a release each require a fresh authenticator step-up, so every signature is provably the certifier's.

Built for aviation compliance

agc.chain is purpose-built for the organizations that produce and rely on airworthiness documentation — not a generic notary bolted onto aviation:

  • Part-145 MROs anchoring maintenance releases the moment they are signed.
  • Part-21 manufacturers issuing production releases with tamper-evident proof.
  • CAMO and operators who need to confirm, quickly and confidently, that an incoming release is real.

How it's different

Blockchain here is an implementation detail, not the product. There is no public gas, no volatile fees, and no exposure of your operational data to the open internet — the network is a dedicated proof-of-authority chain that records fingerprints and nothing else. You get verifiability without exposure, and compliance without compromise. Notarized records are permanent: a revocation is an on-chain state change with a reason, never an erase, so the full history stays intact and auditable.

How it works, in three steps

  • Certify. The certifier fills and signs the Form 1 as they do today, confirming with their authenticator app.
  • Anchor. We fingerprint the certificate and write only that hash to the private chain, automatically.
  • Verify. Anyone scans the QR on the PDF and gets instant, tamper-evident proof — authentic, unaltered, and exactly when it was released.
